10/22/2018 <br />RESOLUTION NO.15707 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN <br />TO ESTABLISH THE CLASSIFICATIONS OF ASSISTANT PARKS, <br />RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR AND CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM MANAGER, AND AMEND ALIGNMENT OF <br />SALARY RANGES FOR HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER, <br />INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER, AND FINANCIAL <br />SERVICES MANAGER <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that the new classifications of <br />Assistant Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director and Capital Improvement <br />Program Manager be established to meet the current and future operational needs for the <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS, the classification specifications, as described in Exhibits A-1 and A-2, <br />were prepared by Human Resources staff in consultation with department management <br />to ensure the foreseeable needs of the organization are met; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested an adjustment to the alignment of <br />salary ranges for Human Resources Manager, Information Technology Manager, and <br />Financial Services Manager; and <br />WHEREAS, Human Resources staff conducted a salary study and reached <br />agreement with department management on the recommended salary ranges as listed in <br />Exhibit B. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.
