ORIGINAl. <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this J~/~day of o~y~, 2002, <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City"), and LYNX TECHNOLOGIES <br />("Consultant"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to convert the water infrastructure information <br />from utility record drawings to a GIS format (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />engineering services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform engineering <br />services relating to the Water Infrastructure Geographic Information System, and <br />related services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this <br />reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount <br />based upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the <br />performance of said services, and as set forth in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />F:ATTY/AG R/agr. 053 1 <br />070102 <br /> <br /> <br />
