12/03/2018 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15721 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN <br />AMENDMENT TO THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO PROVIDE FOR AN ADJUSTMENT TO SALARY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to its authority, the City Council periodically determines <br />whether to make adjustments to the salary and benefits plan for the appointed positions <br />of City Manager and City Attorney; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted an annual performance evaluation of <br />the City Manager, and reviewed compensation with respect to survey data of comparable <br />positions in benchmark cities; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council seeks to acknowledge the performance of the City <br />Manager and ensure that salary remains competitive and in appropriate alignment with <br />other City classifications. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The Third Amendment to the City Manager Employment Agreement, <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A, to effectuate the salary adjustment is approved. <br />2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Third Amendment to City <br />Manager Employment Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />3.
