RESOLUTION NO. P-2391 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND DELIVERY OF 2 <br />PERMANENT GUARD BOOTHS; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR SAID WORK <br />WHEREAS, the Port Executive Director requested bids for the construction and <br />installation of two (2) permanent guard booths at the Port of Redwood City, Redwood City, <br />California; and <br />WHEREAS, three (3) bids were received for the performance of said work and filed with <br />the Port Executive Director; and <br />WHEREAS, B.I.G. Enterprises, Inc. of South EI Monte, California is the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Board of Port Commissioners to award said bid <br />to B.I.G. Enterprises, Inc. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of B.I.G. Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of Sixty -Two- Thousand -Nine -Hundred - <br />Forty -Three and 76/100 Dollars ($62,943.76), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br />dated December 10, 2018, for the construction and delivery two (2) permanent guard booths is <br />hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder. <br />2. That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement" by and between the City of Redwood <br />City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, by and through its Board of Port <br />Commissioners ("Port of Redwood City") and B.I.G. Enterprises, Inc., a copy of which agreement <br />Reso 261 FXS 1/9/19 <br />-1- <br />
