6/26/00 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13930 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />SERVICES — DOWNTOWN AREA PLAN <br />(EDAW, INC.) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires professional consulting <br />services for the Downtown Area Plan in the City of Redwood City (the `Project'); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, EDAW, Inc. of San Francisco, California, represents that it <br />possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the aforesaid services <br />required for the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Consulting <br />Services — Downtown Area Plan" (form dated 06/14/00), by and between the City <br />of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, and EDAW, <br />Inc., for the performance of the above - mentioned services, a copy of which <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City <br />Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and to <br />attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br />Reso -916 1 <br />F: /sh\.sh /Redwood /Council <br />FXS:rg <br />06/14/00 <br />
