ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13927 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE <br />REDWOOD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT, THE SAN CARLOS <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE MENLO PARK POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain Memorandum of Understanding ( "MOU ") entitled, <br />"Memorandum of Understanding Between the Redwood City Police Department, <br />the San Carlos Police Department, and the Menlo Park Police Department <br />Regarding the Redwood City Police Department's Special Weapons and Tactics <br />Team ", by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the <br />State of California, the City of San Carlos, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, and the City of Menlo Park, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California for the purpose of establishing a joint SWAT among the participating <br />agencies to handle certain tactical situations, a copy of which MOU is on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the Police Chief and City Clerk are <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, <br />said MOU for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City: <br />6/26/00 <br />Reso -908 <br />F:\s hared\Redwood \Cou ndR <br />FXS:djk <br />06/06/00 <br />
