<br />MSR:wg:4/28/75 <br /> <br />0 R DIN A N C E <br />--------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1633 <br /> <br />JUN <br /> <br />2 1975 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5.20 OF THE CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO ANNUAL <br />LICENSE FEE FOR DOGS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 5.20 of the Code of the city of Redwood <br /> <br />city is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 5.20. <br /> <br />An annual license fee of Seven Dollars <br /> <br />($7.00) shall be paid for every unneutered male dog and <br /> <br />every unspayed female dog over the age of three (3) months <br /> <br />owned and harbored in the City. <br /> <br />An annual license fee 0 f <br /> <br />Three and 50/100 Dollars ($3.50) shall be paid for every <br /> <br />neutered male dog and every spayed female dog over the age <br /> <br />of three (3) months, owned and harbored in the city, upon <br /> <br />presentation of proof that such dog has been neutered or <br /> <br />spayed. <br /> <br />Prior to issuance of a license for any dog over <br /> <br />the age of four (4) months, proof shall be submitted of <br /> <br />vaccination (or exemption therefrom) of such dog in accord- <br /> <br />ance with the provisions of Division 3 of this article. The <br /> <br />annual license fee shall be due on the first day of January <br /> <br />of each year, and any person who fails to pay such license <br /> <br />fee within sixty (60) days after the fee is due, or the dog <br /> <br />is required to be licensed, shall pay a penalty of Four <br /> <br />Dollars ($4.00) in addition to the payment of the license <br /> <br />fee herein required." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after <br /> <br />its adoption. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1633 <br />
