3/27/00 <br />0 C I G I:; A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13852 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ELEVATOR <br />MAINTENANCE SERVICES; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13814, adopted January 24, <br />2000, the City Clerk advertised for bids for elevator maintenance services at <br />various locations of its public buildings in the City of Redwood City, California; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, six bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, D & D, The Elevator Company of San Francisco, California is <br />the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />award said bid to D & D, The Elevator Company; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of D & D, The Elevator Company in the amount of One <br />Thousand Two Hundred Ninety No /100 Dollars ($1,290.00) per month, computed <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal dated February 22, 2000 for elevator <br />maintenance services at various civic facilities throughout Redwood City, is <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br />Reso -840 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F: Shared /Redwood /Council <br />03109100 <br />
