0 R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13R4r, <br />"3/13/00 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR FAIR OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER <br />CHILD CARE FACILITY EXPANSION PROJECT <br />(THE REDWOOD CITY CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM) <br />WHEREAS, the Redwood City Child Development Program (Contractor) <br />conducts a child care program for children who are residents of the City of Redwood <br />City (the Program); <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and ending June 30, 2000; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand and no /100 Dollars <br />($150,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Reso -835 <br />FJShared/Redwood/Council <br />oatm/oo <br />
