12/13/99 <br /> - ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13806 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR 1999-2000 EMERGENCY <br /> ELECTRICAL REPAIRS SERVICE; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br /> OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13758, adopted October 25, <br /> 1999, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 1999-2000 Emergency Electrical <br /> Repairs Service in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, two bids were received for <br /> the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, Signal Maintenance, Inc. of Santa Clara, California is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> award said bid to Signal Maintenance, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Signal Maintenance, Inc. in the amount of Sixteen <br /> Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-three and 34/100 Dollars ($16,863.34), computed <br /> in accordance with bidder's proposal dated November 23, 1999 for the 1999- <br /> 2000 Emergency Electrical Repairs Service, is hereby accepted and said bidder <br />/ is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> 2.
