- ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13798 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ELECTRICAL <br /> MODIFICATIONS FOR THE MAIN LIBRARY; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13667, adopted July 12, 1999, <br /> <br /> the City Clerk advertised for bids for electrical modifications for the Main Library <br /> <br /> in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, five bids were received for <br /> <br /> the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pacheco Utility Line Builders, Inc. of Menlo Park, California is <br /> <br /> the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br /> award said bid to Pacheco Utility Line Builders, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Pacheco Utility Line Builders, Inc. in the amount of Twenty- <br /> <br />four Thousand Six Hundred No/100 Dollars ($24,600.00), computed in <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated October 27, 1999 for electrical <br />modifications for the Main Library, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
