11/8/99 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13780 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT HOUSING <br /> ORGANIZATION (CHDO) OPERATING EXPENSES <br /> <br /> (HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECT) <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, The Human Investment Project (Contractor) conducts a Self Sufficiency <br />Program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br /> Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and ending June 30, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty-six Thousand Four Hundred Forty-three and <br />No/100 Dollars ($36,443.00) from its HOME Partnership Investment Program funds for <br />the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said agreement <br />and authorize its execution; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Community Development Housing Organization <br />(CHDO) Operating Expenses," (form dated 10/15/99), by and between the City of <br /> <br /> Reso-769 1 <br /> F:Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> FXS:djk <br /> 10/15/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
