11/8/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13776 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR MAPLE STREET EMERGENCY <br /> SHELTER AND TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (SHELTER NETWORK OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Shelter Network of San Mateo County (Contractor) conducts a <br />emergency shelter, transitional housing, and comprehensive support services for <br />homeless individuals who reside in the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and ending June 30, 2000; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($30,000) from <br />its Community Development Block Grant and General Funds for the foregoing purposes; <br />and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
