11/8/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13774 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR <br /> REDWOOD CITY SENIORS <br /> <br /> (PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., (Contractor) conducts an adult day <br />support services for seniors of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and ending June 30, 2000; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Eighteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($18,000.00) <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Adult Day Support Services for <br />Redwood City Seniors," (form dated 10/15/99), by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br /> <br />
