- 10/25/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13761 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REQUESTING AND AUTHORIZING COMMISSION <br /> OF SOUTH BAYSlDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY TO PROCEED WITH <br /> "FIRST STEP" RECYCLED WATER FEASIBILITY PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the South Bayside System Authority ("SBSA") provides <br />wastewater transmission, treatment and disposal services for its member <br />agencies, including the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered a Recycled Water <br />Program (the "Program") prepared for the City by the SBSA in cooperation with <br />the Public Works Services Department of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, implementation of the Program is to be carried out in <br />sequential steps, the first of which includes preparation of a water recycling <br />concept planning report ("First Step"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to implement the First Step; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The First Step for implementing a Recycled Water Program, as <br />described in that certain document entitled, "The First Step - the Redwood City <br />Recycled Water Program", prepared by the SBSA, and the "Urban Water <br />Recycling Feasibility Assessment Guidebook", by Bookman-Edmonston <br />Engineering, Inc., dated September 1998, is hereby approved, and the <br /> <br />Reso-770 <br />f:lshlshlRClCouncil <br /> <br />DES:djk <br />10/19/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
