G I N A L 10/25/99 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13759 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF NINE <br /> TRAFFIC SIGNAL BATTERY BACK-UP POWER SUPPLY UNITS <br /> FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the purchase of nine (9) for the Department of Public Works Services of the City <br />of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Jam Services, Inc. of Livermore, California, is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of Jam Services, Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Jam Services, Inc. for the purchase of nine (9) traffic signal <br />battery back-up power supply units to the City of Redwood City in the amount of <br />Nineteen Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-six and 31/100 Dollars ($19,436.31) <br />and in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated July 20, 1999, is hereby <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br />in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement for said units. <br /> <br />Reso-768 <br />DES:djk <br />F:/Shared/Eedwood/Council <br />10/11/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
