9/27/99 <br /> _ ORIGINAL _ <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13746 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 1999-2000 SEWER <br /> MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br /> RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13323, adopted August 23, 1999, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 1999-2000 Sewer Main Replacement <br />Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, six bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Saliba Corporation of San Francisco, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to Saliba Corporation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Saliba Corporation in the amount of Four Hundred Eighty- <br />six Thousand Six Hundred Thirteen and 64/100 Dollars ($486,613.64), computed <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal dated September 15, 1999, for the 1999- <br />2000 Sewer Main Replacement Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
