" 9/13/99 <br /> ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13742 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE FRIENDLY ACRES <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD SPEED HUMP SIGNING AND STRIPING <br /> INSTALLATION PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> the Friendly Acres Neighborhood Speed Hump Signing and Striping Installation <br /> Project in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation one bid was received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Weatherly Striping Company, Inc., of San Carlos, California, <br /> was the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br /> Council to accept the bid of Weatherly Striping Company, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Weatherly Striping Company, Inc., in the total amount of <br /> Fifteen Thousand Three Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($15,300.00) computed in <br /> accordance with said bidder's proposal dated September 1, 1999, is hereby <br /> accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
