8/23/99 <br /> ORIGINAL _ <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13726 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE HOOVER POOL <br /> AND BATH HOUSE RENOVATION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13669, adopted July 12, 1999, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Hoover Pool and Bath House <br />Renovation Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, two bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, A & A Construction of Los Gatos, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to A & A Construction; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of A & A Construction in the amount of Four Hundred Forty- <br />five Thousand Nine and No/100 Dollars ($445,000.00), computed in accordance <br />with bidder's proposal dated August 11, 1999 for the Hoover Pool and Bath <br />House Renovation Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
