8/23/99 <br /> <br /> -- ORIGINAl <br /> <br /> (07/26/99) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13722 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County is a private, non-profit organization <br />that provides a partnership between several local school districts, health and human services <br />organizations, the County of San Mateo, and local community volunteers who are dedicated to helping <br />young people make healthy life choices, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare <br />and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County, has requested financial assistance <br />for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999 and ending June <br />30, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Teen Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County to provide financial assistance in <br /> <br />furtherance of its public purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CQUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7/26/99), by and between the City of Redwood City and Teen <br />Pregnancy Coalition of San Mateo County a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br /> <br />
