8/23/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> (07/26/99) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13714 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With International Institute <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, international Institute is a private, non-profit organization that provides assistance <br />with work authorization, family reunification procedures, and a full range of citizenship, voter education <br />and civic participation services, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, International Institute, has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting <br />its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999 and ending June 30, 2000; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br /> agreement with International institute to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7126199), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> International Institute a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
