8/23/99 <br /> <br /> _ ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> (07/26/99) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13711 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Ellipse Peninsula Aids Service <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Service is a private, non-profit organization that provides <br />assistance to individuals in San Mateo County who are HIV infected, which services are in furtherance of <br />the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Service, has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999 and ending June 30, 2000; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Ellipse Peninsula Aids Service to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public <br />purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7~26/99), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> Ellipse Peninsula Aids Service a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
