8/23/99 <br /> ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> (07/26/99) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13707 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Center for Domestic Violence Prevention <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Center for Domestic Violence Prevention is a private, non-profit organization that <br />provides a 24-Hour Crisis line and a shelter program for battered women and their children , which <br />services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Center for Domestic Violence Prevention, has requested financial assistance for use <br />by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999 and ending June 30, 2000; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Center for Domestic Violence Prevention to provide financial assistance in furtherance of <br />its public purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7126199), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />Center for Domestic Violence Prevention a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br /> <br />
