8/23/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> (07/26/99) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13706 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Casa de Redwood-Better Living for Seniors <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Casa de Redwood-Better Living for Seniors is a private, non-profit organization that <br /> provides Iow income elderly persons with housing facilities and services to meet their physical, social, and <br /> psychological needs, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Casa de Redwood-Better Living for Seniors, has requested financial assistance for <br />use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999 and ending June 30, <br />2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Casa de Redwood-Better Living for Seniors to provide financial assistance in furtherance <br />of its public purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 7/26/99), by and between the City of Redwood City and Casa <br />de Redwood-Better Living for Seniors a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
