_ 7/26/99 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13679 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 1999-2000 COST <br /> SHARED SIDEWALK REPAIR PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13654, adopted June 14, 1999, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 1999-2000 Cost Shared Sidewalk <br />Repair Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, six bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, P & P Construction, inc. of Newark, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to P & P Construction, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of P & P Construction, inc. in the amount of One Hundred <br /> Twenty-seven Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars <br /> ($127,750.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated July 7, <br /> 1999 for the 1999-2000 Cost Shared Sidewalk Repair Project, is hereby <br /> accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> Reso-476 1 <br /> DES:djk <br /> F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> 07/15/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
