6/14/99 <br /> -- ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13649 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA CONFLICT RESOLUTION <br /> CENTER FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE REDWOOD CITY <br /> COMMUNITY MEDIATION PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center ("PCRC"), a non-profit <br /> corporation of the State of California, presently operates the Redwood City <br /> community boards program, the purpose of which is to improve neighborhood <br /> and community communication, in furtherance of the public order, health and <br /> welfare in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PCRC represents that it is qualified and experienced to <br /> <br /> perform the aforesaid conflict resolution services required for said Program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for the Provision of <br />Community Mediation Services", by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, and Peninsula Conflict <br />Resolution Center, for the performance of the above-mentioned services, a copy <br />of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and <br />the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> <br />Reso-675 1 <br />G:\s hared\redwood\cou ncil <br />FXS:djk <br />05/25/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
