5/17/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13637 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE <br /> (1) XEROX DIGITAL COPIER 255 FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF <br /> HUMAN SERVICES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the purchase of one (1) digital copier for the Department of Human Resources of <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, seven bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Xerox Corporation of San Jose, California, is the lowest <br />responsible bidder (meeting the City's required specifications) and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of Xerox Corporation; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
