10/09/2006 ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. 14740 RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE CITY'S UN- APPROPRIATED CONSTRUCTION FUND WHEREAS, the City Council of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 14085 approving a Construction and Improvements Agreement (Improvement Agreement) with J. Paul Company for the improvements to Blomquist Street/East Bayshore Road Improvements; and WHEREAS, said improvements are funded by a Mello Roos Bonds pursuant to Redwood City Community Facilities District 2000-1; and WHEREAS, the City entered into a New Public Highway Crossing Agreement with Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) for the payment of modifications to the railroad crossings at Blomquist Street, which were a part of the Improvement Agreement; and WHEREAS, the Community Development Services Department is requesting additional funding from the Un-appropriated Construction Fund within the Pacific Shores Construction Fund in the amount of Six Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Seven and 48/100 Dollars ($6,697.48) to cover the "final" billing from the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) for the costs of completed track replacement and related appurtenances on the Blomquist Street realignment. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOllOWS: 1. The above stated amount is hereby appropriated in the Un-appropriated Construction fund balance. 2.
