IS7 J- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 4.5 TO ORDINANCE NO. 1556, <br />ESTABLISHING SALARIES FOR CERTAIN DESIGNATED EMPLOYEES <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE POSITION <br />OF ACTING POLICE CHIEF <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION l. Section 4.5 is hereby added to Ordinance No. 1556, <br /> <br />entitled "Ordinance Establishing Salaries for Certain Designated <br /> <br />Employees of the City of Redwood city~ Repealing Sections 11, 12, <br /> <br />13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 of Ordinance No. 1519," adopted February 5, <br /> <br />1973, to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 4.5. The person appointed to the position <br /> <br />of Acting Police Chief shall receive a monthly salary <br /> <br />within a monthly salary range of $1,634 to $1,716." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after <br /> <br />its adoption; provided, however, that the provisions hereof shall <br /> <br />be operative retroactively to and including July 1, 1973. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
