<br />DES:yc:6/l5/73 <br /> <br />OR1G1NAL <br /> <br />,Ul 25 "fA <br /> <br />o R DIN A N C E <br />--------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />/5~~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE <br />FINAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR JULY I, 1973-JUNE 30, 1974; PROVIDING FOR THE <br />APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF ALL sm~s SET FORTH IN <br />SAID BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES, <br />TRANSFERS, ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS AND CANCELLATION <br />OF EXISTING APPROPRIATIONS; THE DISPOSITION OF UNEXPENDED <br />UNENCUMBERED MONEYS IN FUNDS AT CLOSE OF FISCAL YEAR; <br />AMENDING THE DISPOSITION OF PROCEEDS COLLECTED UNDER <br />ARTICLE I, CHAPTER 32, OF THE REDWOOD CITY CODE; <br />ADOPTING THE BUDGETS FOR GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS <br />NO. 1-64, NO. 1-65, NO. 2-65 AND 3-65 FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR JULY I, 1973-JUNE 30, 1974; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 1534, AS AMENDED, AND ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />city, the City Manager has submitted to the Council of the city <br /> <br />of Redwood city, a proposed annual budget for the fiscal year <br /> <br />July 1, 1973-June 30, 1974; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the city <br /> <br />of Redwood City, after due public hearing and notice, the Council <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City has approved said budget and said <br /> <br />budget has been certified by the City Clerk and the City Manager <br /> <br />as the final budget of the City for said fiscal year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Redwood city <br />to adopt the above mentioned certified copy of said budget, as <br /> <br />amended, presently on file in the office of the City Clerk; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE : <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Adoption of Budget. That certain above mentioned <br /> <br />budget for the fiscal year July 1, 1973-June 30, 1974, approved <br /> <br />by the Council of the city of Redwood City and certified by the <br /> <br />city Clerk and the city Manager, presently on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, entitled "city of Redwood city Annual Budget, <br /> <br />1973-1974," is hereby referred to and incorporated herein as if <br /> <br />fully set forth herein verbatim, and said budget is hereby <br />
