<br />DES:lt:ll/20/72 <br />DES: 1 t : 12/8/72 (2) <br /> <br />ORD.!.NANCE <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />IS Sf <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />DEe 18 72 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING DIVISION 2 OF, ADDING DIVISIONS <br />2 AND 3 TO, ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 5, AMENDING SECTION <br />5.60 OF AND ADDING SECTION 5.65.5 TO, THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE ADMINISTERING OF <br />CANINE ANTI-RABIES VACCINATION <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL. OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Division 2 of Article II of Chapter 5 of the <br />Code of the city of Redwood city is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 2. Division 2 is hereby added to Article II of <br /> <br />Chapter 5 of the Code of the city of Redwood city to read as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />"DIVISION 2. LICENSES. <br /> <br />'''Section 5.20 An annual license fee of Six Dollars <br /> <br />($6.00) shall be paid for every male dog and unspayed female <br /> <br />dog over the age of three months owned and harbored in this <br /> <br />city. An annual license fee of Three Dollars ($3.00) shall <br /> <br />be paid for every spayed female dog over the age of three <br /> <br />months owned and harbored in this city, upon presentation <br />of proof that such dog has been spayed. Prior to issuance <br />of a license for any dog over the age of four months proof <br /> <br />shall be submitted of vaccination (or exemption therefrom) <br /> <br />of such dog in accordance with the provisions of Division 3 <br /> <br />of this Chapter. The annual license fee shall be due the <br /> <br />first day of January of each year, and any person who fails <br /> <br />to pay such license fee within 60 days after the fee is due, <br /> <br />or the dog is required to be licensed, shall pay a penalty <br /> <br />of Two Dollars ($2~00) in addition to the payment of the <br /> <br />license fee herein required. <br /> <br />"Section 5.21 A license sha).l be obtained but no <br /> <br />'- <br />-, <br /> <br />license fee shall be payable for the licensing of any dog <br /> <br />which is being used for guide purposes by a blind resident <br /> <br />of the ci~y, or for dogs which have served as a member of <br /> <br />the armed forces of the united States of America during any <br /> <br />period of actual hostilities. <br />IISection 5.22 Licenses provided for in this article <br />
