<br />DES:yc:ll/19/71 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />OEe 13 'n <br /> <br />o R DIN A N C E <br /> <br />N O. /51J <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.104 OF, AND ADDING <br />SECTION 20.104.5 TO, DIVISION 1, ARTICLE VII, <br />CHAPTER 20, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />RELATING TO RESTRICTED-USE PARKING IN THE AREA <br />HEREIN DESCRIBED <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 20.104 of Division 1, Article VII, <br /> <br />Chapter 20, of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />(a) A restricted-use parking zone, <br /> <br />"Section 20.104 <br /> <br />for the use hereinafter described, is hereby created in the <br /> <br />area along the easterly curb of Winslow Street from the <br /> <br />southerly edge of a driveway leading to a loading area of <br /> <br />the Hall of Justice and Records southerly to a point 105 <br /> <br />feet from said southerly edge of said driveway. <br /> <br />"Said zone shall be and remain in effect so long as <br /> <br />the city is compensated, in advance, for the use of said <br /> <br />zone in an amount equal to the maximum amount that would <br /> <br />be collected by five parking meters during their hours of <br /> <br />operation pursuant to the schedule set forth in section <br /> <br />20.132.21 of this Code. <br /> <br />"The use of said zone shall be limited to the parking <br /> <br />of vehicles owned by governmental agencies and used for law <br /> <br />enforcement activities. <br /> <br />"(b) When the zone established in subsection (a) hereof <br /> <br />is appropriately marked in accordance with section 20.105 <br /> <br />hereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle, <br /> <br />other than the vehicles authorized in subsection (a) of <br /> <br />this section, at any time within any portion of the zone <br /> <br />established in said subsection (a)." <br /> <br />T <br />
