<br />DES.ek 5/20/71 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />JLW 21 11 <br /> <br />o R DIN A N C E <br />----------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />I'" 9~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE <br />FINAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR JULY 1, 1971-JUNE 30, 1972: PROVIDING FOR TIlE <br />APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF ALL SUMS SET FORTH <br />IN SAID BUDGET: PROVIDING FOR EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES, <br />TRANSFERS, ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS AND CANCELLATION <br />OF EXISTING APPROPRIATIONS: AND, REPEALING ORDINANCE <br />NO. 1457, AS A}lliNDED, AND ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH: AND, ADOPTING THE BUDGETS FOR <br />GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS NO. 1-6~, NO. 1-65, <br />NO. 2-65, AND NO. 3-65 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1971- <br />JUNE 30, 1972 <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Charter of the City of <br />Redwood City, the City Manager has submitted to the Council <br />of the City of Redwood City, a proposed annual budget for <br /> <br />the fiscal year J'u1y 1, 1971-June 30, 1972: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, after due public hearing and notice, <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City has approved said <br /> <br />budget and said budget has been certified by the City Clerk <br /> <br />and the City Manager as the final budget of the City for <br /> <br />said fiscal year: and <br /> <br />" <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />to adopt the abovementioned certified copy of said budget, as <br />amended, presently on file in the office of the City Clerk: <br /> <br />NOW, , THEREFORE : <br /> <br />SECTION 1. ADOPTION OF BUDGET. That certain abovementioned <br /> <br />budget for the fiscal year July 1, 1971~June 30, 1972, approved <br /> <br />by the Council of the City of Redwood City and certified by the <br />City Clerk and the City Manager, presently on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk, entitled "City of Redwood City <br /> <br />Budget, 1971-1972," is, hereby referred to and incorporated <br /> <br />herein as if fully set forth herein.__~erbatim, and said budget <br />is hereby adopted as the annual budget of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City for the fiscal year July 1, 1971-June 30, 1972. <br /> <br />r <br />
