IL/-po <br /> <br />ffb 1 '71 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 2.12.1 TO 'I'HE CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF REm'lOOD CITY, CONSOLIDATING OFFICES <br />OF CITY ASSESSOR M~D CITY AUDITORi AND, REPEALING <br />SECTION 2.12.2 OF SAID CODE, RELATING '10 <br />CONSOLIDATED OFFICES THEREIN DESIGNATED <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REm.mOD CITY DOES ORDAIN <br /> <br />AS FOLLmvS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 2.12.1 shall be added to the <br /> <br />Code of the city of Redwood City, to read as follows:' <br /> <br />"Section 2.12.1 (a) Pursuant to the <br /> <br />provisions of Section 22 of the Charter, the <br /> <br />offices of city Assessor and city Auditor are <br /> <br />hereby consolidated. <br /> <br />(b) Any person appointed to such <br /> <br />consolidated office shall exercise and perform <br /> <br />all powers, functions and duties as are prescribed <br /> <br />by Sections 33 and 35 of the Charter or as are <br /> <br />otherwise prescribed by the Charter or any <br /> <br />ordinance or resolution, in the same manner ~s <br /> <br />if such offices were not consolidated." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Section 2.12.2 of the Code of the city of <br />Redwood city is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
