<br />DES:yc:9/11/70 <br /> <br />j81 <br /> <br />,su ~J.I <br /> <br />o R DIN A N C E <br /> <br />N O. ~7~ <br /> <br />ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CONTRIBUTED SUM OF $7,000 <br />FROM UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF SPECIAL DEPOSITS FUND <br />TO THE APPROPRIATION FOR CAPITAL EXPENDITURES, POLICE <br />PROTECTION, FOR PURCHASE OF VAN-TYPE TRUCK TO BE USED <br />FOR ACTIVITIES OF REDWOOD CITY POLICE YOUTH CLUB <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the sum of Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,000.00) has <br /> <br />heretofore been contributed to the City of Redwood City by the <br /> <br />peninsula Celebration Association for the express purpose of <br /> <br />purchasing a van-type truck for use by the Redwood City Police <br /> <br />Youth Club; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The sum of Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,000.00) <br /> <br />heretofore contributed to, and accepted by, the city of Redwood <br /> <br />City is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated balance of <br /> <br />the Special Deposits Fund to the appropriation for Capital <br /> <br />Expenditures, Police protection, to be used for the specific <br /> <br />purpose of acquiring one new two ton van-type truck to be owned <br /> <br />by the City and used by the Police Youth Club of Redwood City <br /> <br />for municipal purposes. Said sum shall be for expenditure <br /> <br />during the fiscal year July 1, 1970 - June 30, 1971, and shall <br /> <br />be in addition to all sums appropriated for such purposes <br /> <br />during the fiscal year July 1, 1970 - June 30, 1971. <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
