<br />DES.ek 10/10/69 <br /> <br />(\f)!.Gi ~\'AL <br />\,'1\ .n~ i <br /> <br />UCT 20 '1',:;' <br /> <br />ORD1..NANCE <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1../..3 J-. <br /> <br />AN ORD I NANCE ADDING SECTION 14. 5 TO THE SALARY ORDINANCE <br />OF THE CITY OF RED','VOOD CITY, RELATI~G TO THE POSITIONS <br />OF DEPUTY CITY CLERK AND DEPUTY CITY TREASURER <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REm'lOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 14.5 is hereby added to Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 1382, entitled "An Ordinance Establishing Salaries for <br /> <br />Employees of the City of Redwood City; and, Repealing Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 1286," adopted December 16, 1968, to read as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 14.5. The provisions of Section 14 of this <br /> <br />ordinance to the contrary notwithstanding, the persons <br /> <br />appointed to the positions of Deputy City Clerk and <br /> <br />Deputy City Treasurer and authorized pursuant to <br /> <br />resolution of the Council of the c~ty of Redwood City, <br /> <br />duly adopted, to exercise all powers and perform all <br /> <br />duties and functions, and assume all responsibilities <br /> <br />of the offices of City Clerk and City Treasurer, <br /> <br />respectively, shall, for the period during which such <br /> <br />authorizations remain effective, receive a monthly <br /> <br />salary of one thousand dollars ($1,000)." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The provisions of this ordinance shall be <br /> <br />operative retroactively to and including November 1, 1969. <br /> <br />* * * <br />
