DES:yc:12/2/68 JIJI 6 "C') o R DIN A N C E --------- N O. l.3r.J ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 5.20 AND 5.71 OF CHAPTER 5 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO DOG LICENSE AND ANIMAL IMPOUNDING FEES THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. section 5.20 of Chapter 5 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 5.20 An annual license fee of Four Dollars shall be paid for every male dog and unspayed female dog over the age of three months owned and harbored in this City. An annual license fee of Two Dollars shall be paid for every spayed female dog over the age of three months owned and harbored in this City, upon presentation of proof that such dog has been spayed. The annual license fee shall be due the first day of January of each year and any person who fails to pay such license fee within 60 days after the fee is due, or the dog is required to be licensed, shall pay,a"peIlaity of Two Dollars in addition to the paYment of the license fee herein required." SECTION 2. Section 5.71 of Chapter 5 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 5.71 The fees for animal shelter services in impounding and caring for animals shall be as follows, and no animal shall be released to its owner or keeper before such fees are paid in full: (a) For every horse, mare, mule, ass, bull, cow, ox or calf, the sum of Ten Dollars, and also the sum of Two Dollars per day for keeping each of the animals, to be paid by the owner thereof. (b) For every sheep, lamb, goat or hog impounded, the sum of Five Dollars and also the sum of One Dollar per day for keeping of each of the animals, to be paid by the owner thereof.
