FRANCHISE GR~NTED. In accordance with Article V <br /> <br />of Chapter 11 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, a non- <br /> <br />exclusive franchise is ~ereby granted to peninsula Cable Television <br /> <br />Corporntion, a California corporation, located at 240 El Camino <br /> <br />Real, Belmont, California, to construct, operate and maintain a <br /> <br />community antenna television system within the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, subject to all provisions, terms and requirements of <br /> <br />/Article V of Chapter lllof the Code of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />heretofore or hereafter enacted, and to all requirements of the <br /> <br />Charter of the City of Redwood City, the Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, and to all ordinances, rules, regulations and <br /> <br />specifications of the City of Redwood City heretofore or here-q <br /> <br />after enacted or established. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. TERH. <br /> <br />The term of the franchise granted herein <br /> <br />shall be 20 years dating from the operative date of this ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. NUMBER OF CHANNELS. (a) Grantee shall furnish <br /> <br />delivery of at least 12 television channels to any and all sub- <br /> <br />scribers at the rates hereinafter specified. <br /> <br />(b) In the event the grantee increases the capacity of <br /> <br />channel delivery beyond 12 by the installation of converters at <br /> <br />the consumer's premises, an additional monthly service charge <br /> <br />shall be permitted as provided herein. Grantee may also, in <br /> <br />the alternative, sell s2id converters to its subscribers for <br /> <br />an amount as provided :K re in. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. FRP.NCHISE FEE. Grantee shall pay to the City, <br /> <br />during the life of the franchise herein granted, a sum equal to <br /> <br />four per cent of the gross annual receipts derived from the <br />
