<br />REG .lm 8/7/67 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br /> <br />N o. <br /> <br />I~~~ <br /> <br />ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE III OF CHAPTER 32 OF THE <br />CODE OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO CIGARE,TI'E TAXES, <br />TO BE EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 30, 1967 <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Article III (commencing at Section 32.30) of <br />Chapter 32 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> <br />repealed. <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect on September 30, <br /> <br />1967. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The repeal of Article III of Chapter 32 of <br /> <br />the Code of the City of Redwood City shall not be construed as <br /> <br />abating any action now pending under said article, or as <br /> <br />a discontinuance, abating or modifying of any penalty that <br /> <br />has accrued or may accrue under said article, or as affecting <br /> <br />the liability of any person, firm or corporation to pay all <br /> <br />taxes accruing to and including September 30, 1967, or as <br /> <br />affecting the right of any person, firm or corporation under <br /> <br />said article, including any rights for refunds. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />~ <br />
