<br />WHK:mm:9/19/66-7 <br /> <br />ORDl.NANCE <br /> <br />N O. 1~7f) <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.20 OF THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO COUNCIL MEETINGS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 2.20 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 2.20 <br /> <br />(a) Regular meetings of the Council <br /> <br />of the City shall be held on the first four Mondays of each <br /> <br />month, except when such Monday is a holiday as defined by <br /> <br />the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City excluding the provisions for administrative holidays. <br /> <br />II (b) On each Monday the Council shall meet twice. <br /> <br />The first meeting shall be known as the 'regular study meeting' <br /> <br />and shall be held at 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the Board of <br /> <br />Supervisors' Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood <br /> <br />City, California. The regular study meeting shall auto- <br /> <br />matica1ly terminate and adjourn at 7:59 p.m. without motion, <br /> <br />vote or order. The regular study meeting shall be limited <br /> <br />to review and discussion of proposed legislative agenda <br /> <br />items and the receipt and discussion of administrative <br /> <br />reports. No legislative or other official action or deter- <br /> <br />mination whatsoever shall be made or taken at any such <br /> <br />regular study meeting. The second meeting shall be known <br /> <br />as the 'regular legislative meeting' and shall be held at <br /> <br />8:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Hall of <br /> <br />Justice and Records, Redwood city, California <br /> <br />II (c) All Council meetings shall be open to the public." <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
