<br />REG.ek 6/9/66-7 <br /> <br />ORD1.NANCE <br /> <br />N o. 1d.1 '- <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 41 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1232, <br />THE SALARY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />PERTAINING TO SALARY FOR POSITION OF DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />WORKS/CITY ENGINEER, TO BE OPERATIVE AS OF JULY 1, 1966 <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 41 of Ordinance No. 1232, entitled <br /> <br />"An Ordinance Establishing Salaries for Employees of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City; adding Article V, commencing at section 23.70, <br /> <br />to the Redwood City Code concerning the Administration of the <br /> <br />pay Plan; and, repealing Ordinance No. 1147," adopted February 7, <br /> <br />1966, is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 41. The Pub~ic Works Director/City Engineer <br /> <br />shall receive an annual salary of eighteen thousand five <br /> <br />hundred dollars ($18,500.00)." <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The provisions of this ordinance shall be <br /> <br />operative as of the first day of July, 1966. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2 <br /> <br />of this ordinance, the employee presently holding the position <br /> <br />of City Engineer shall continue to receive a monthly salary <br /> <br />within salary range 61 until such time as an employee is appointed <br /> <br />to the position of Director of Public works/City Engineer. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
