REG:lr:8/19/65-7 o R DIN A N C E --------- N O. 10 " f') _..--..~ AN ORDIN1\NCE OF THE CITY OF RED;lOOD CITY APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE crry OF RED..l!OOD CITY OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "PIo.~'1BO ANI\JEXATION" AND HEREIN DESCRIBED, AND HEREIN ANNEXING SAID TERRITORY TO SAID CITY OF REmmOD CITY THE COUNCIL OF RED300D CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO:1S: :JHEREAS, on the 12th day of July, 1965, the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 4721 giving notice of, and declaring its intention to, initiate upon its own motion pro- ceedings to annex to the City of Redwood City all of the territory designated as "Piombo Annexation"; and vlHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and has found, and again finds, that a written description of the proposal to annex said territory to the City of Redwood City was filed with the Secretary of the Boundary Commission of San Mateo County, California, and with the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Mateo County, California, on November 20 , 19~, and that said Commissions have prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report on said annexation proposal as required by law, and that said Commissions have approved the boundaries of said proposed annexation; and have received evidence showing, and have found, and again find, that the aforementioned action of the Council initiating the annexation of the herein described territory, upon its own motion, was not commenced until after said written descrip- tion of the proposal for said annexation was filed with the said Commissions, and until after said Commissions made, or caused to be made, their report and approved said boundaries; and WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidence showing, and has found, and again finds: (1) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent to -1-
