<br />RJC.ek 4/2/65-7 <br /> <br />ORD1.NANCE <br /> <br />N o. <br /> <br />1. #I C. fl. <br />';:..( ;Ji <br />,......u <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 33.32 OF THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO SCHEDULE OF RATES <br />FOR TAXICABS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Section 33.32 of the Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"SECTION 33.32. SCHEDULE OF RATES. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for the owner or driver of <br />any taxicab in the city to fix, charge or collect for <br />service a rate more or less than the following: <br /> <br />1. For the first one-fourth mile, fifty cents. <br /> <br />2. For each additional one-sixth mile, ten cents. <br /> <br />3. When carrying passengers whose point of destination <br />is different, the meter shall be turned back to the 'for <br />hire' position each time a passenger is discharged and a <br />fare collected. <br /> <br />4. For each piece of luggage in excess of two <br />average size traveling bags, or their equivalent in size, <br />ten cents. <br /> <br />5. For waiting time, give dollars per hour; provided, <br />however, that charges for waiting time of less than one <br />hour shall be reduced proportionately. <br /> <br />6. Scrip may be issued at a discount of ten per cent <br />upon sale of each five dollars of scrip tickets as a unit.1I <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
