3/8/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13567 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR DISCLOSURE COUNSEL SERVICES <br /> (CONSOLIDATED REASSESSMENT DISTRICT - SEAPORT <br /> BOULEVARD AND SEAPORT CENTRE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires special disclosure counsel <br />services in connection with proceedings for the issuance of assessment bonds <br />relating to a proposed reassessment district to be known and designated as the <br />"Consolidated Reassessment District (Seaport)" (the "Bond Issue"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, a professional corporation <br />of San Francisco, California, represent that they are qualified by training and <br />experience to perform the services of disclosure counsel; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve and authorize the execution <br /> <br />of the hereinafter referenced agreement with said disclosure counsel; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Disclosure Counsel <br />Services Between City of Redwood City and Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, a <br />Professional Corporation," by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, and Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth for <br />disclosure counsel services relating to the issuance of assessment bonds <br />relating to the Consolidated Reassessment District (Seaport), a copy of which <br /> <br />Reso-610 1 <br />G:~sha red,redwood\council <br />DES:djk <br />03/01/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
