<br />CES:djk ('-1/12/90 <br /> <br />(037/27) <br /> <br />OalGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N 0.1-1-2-69 <br /> <br />APR 1 6 lY90 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />KENNEDY/JENKS/CHILTON RELATING TO FIELD ENGINEERING <br />SERVICES FOR LAKEVIEW PRESSURE ZONE WATER MAIN <br />EXTENSION, 1990 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City plans to construct certain water main <br /> <br />improvements in the Lakeview Pressure Zone; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City desires to engage Kennedy/Jenks/Chilton, Inc., <br /> <br />of Palo Al to, California, for certain services, including, but <br /> <br />not <br /> <br />limited <br /> <br />to, <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />management <br /> <br />services, <br /> <br />daily <br /> <br />inspections, and other services during construction of said <br /> <br />improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kennedy/Jenks/Chilton, Inc., has represented to <br /> <br />City that it is uniquely qualified and experienced to perform <br /> <br />those services; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Kennedy/Jenks/Chilton, Inc., of Palo Alto, California, <br /> <br />entitled "Agreement <br /> <br />For Construction Management Services <br /> <br />Lakeview Pressure Zone Water Main Extension, 1990 II (form dated <br /> <br />04/12/90), a copy of which is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and <br /> <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />J269 <br /> <br />r. <br />
