<br />DES:djv 02/22/90 (#040/26) <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />1 1 2 3:2. <br /> <br />FEB 2 6 1990 <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A STREET <br />EASEMENT (HILLCREST WAY) IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />PURSUANT TO PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, CALIFORNIA STREETS <br />AND HIGHWAYS CODE; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING <br />ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED <br />VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a portion of an easement for a street in the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City, heretofore dedicated to public use, commonly <br /> <br />known as a portion of Hillcrest Way, which portion is more <br /> <br />particularly described in Exhibit "A", and depicted on Exhibit <br /> <br />"B", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, <br /> <br />is unnecessary for present or prospective public use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this Council intends to vacate said street <br /> <br />easement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />that portion of the street easement commonly known as Hillcrest <br /> <br />Way, which portion is comprised of all that certain real property <br /> <br />located in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, <br /> <br />California, more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted <br /> <br />in Exhibit B, and hereby elects to proceed with such vacation <br /> <br />pursuant to the provisions of Part 3, Division 9 (commencing with <br /> <br />~8300) of the California Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that Monday, <br /> <br />March 26 <br /> <br />, 1990, <br /> <br />at the hour of 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may <br /> <br />be heard, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 401 Marshall <br />
