O R I G I N A L - <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13559 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE GOODWIN AVENUE <br /> SEWER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13537, adopted January 11, <br /> 1999, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Goodwin Avenue Sewer Main <br /> Replacement Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were received for <br /> the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, HydroTech, Inc. of Fernley Nevada is the lowest responsible <br /> bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to <br /> HydroTech, Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of HydroTech, Inc. in the amount of Ninety-four Thousand Four <br /> Hundred Eight and No/100 Dollars ($94,408.00), computed in accordance with <br /> bidder's proposal dated February 2, 1999 for the Goodwin Avenue Sewer Main <br /> Replacement Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement" (form dated 02/04/99) by <br /> and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> <br /> Reso-582 1 <br /> DES:djk <br /> F:/Shared/Redwo0d/C0unci <br /> 02/04/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
