<br />DES:djk Ol/l7/90 (033/26) <br /> <br />ORIGINAL JAN 221990 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11217 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF COPIER SYSTEM <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN <br />CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br /> <br />Code of the City of Redwood City bids were solicited without <br /> <br />public advertisement for the purchase of a copier system, the <br /> <br />estimated cost of which was over $lO,OOO but less than $20,000; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of said solicitation, two bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, C.G. Incorporated, of Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain bid of C.G. Incorporated, of Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, for a copier system in the amount of Eleven Thousand <br /> <br />Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($11,550.00) (including credit for <br /> <br />trade-in system) as set forth in said bidder's letter proposal <br /> <br />dated June 30, 1989 is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />declared the lowest responsible bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. All other bids, except the bid referenced in paragraph <br /> <br />1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. Any and all irregularities in the bid of C.G. <br /> <br />Incorporated are hereby waived. <br />
