<br />CES:djm 03./04/90 (004/#27) <br />IAN - 8 1990 <br /> <br />ORIGfNAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11202 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF PLAYGROUND <br />EQUIPMENT FOR CITY PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to "Section 67. Contracts" of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Charter, the City Manager on November 15, 1989, called for <br /> <br />bids for certain playground equipment as specified in the request <br /> <br />for bids; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, two bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ross Recreation Equipment Company, Inc., Novato, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Ross <br /> <br />Recreation Equipment Company, Inc., <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Ross Recreation Equipment Company, Inc., <br /> <br />Novato, California, in the sum of Fifteen Thousand Ninety Four <br /> <br />and 92/100 Dollars ($15,094.92), for all of said playground <br /> <br />equipment, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />November 30, 1989, is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bid for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute a purchase order and all other necessary <br /> <br />documents approved as to form by the City Attorney on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City in accordance with the above-mentioned <br /> <br />bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is presently on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made <br />
