<br />DES:djm 12/]4/89 (118/#25) <br />or<iGINAL <br /> <br />11197 <br /> <br />DEe 1 8 1989 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CHARGES FOR SANITARY <br />INSPECTIONS, COLLECTIONS, RECYCLING AND REMOVAL OF <br />REFUSE IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to agreement with the South Bayside <br /> <br />Transfer Station Authority a rate analysis has been conducted <br /> <br />regarding sanitary inspection, refuse collection and recycling <br /> <br />services in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of said Authority, of which <br /> <br />this City is a member agency, certain increases in said rates <br /> <br />have been recommended to compensate for increases in the cost of <br /> <br />providing such services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to establish a rate schedule <br /> <br />for said services consistent with the foregoing recommendation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l. The schedule of charges for sanitary inspection and <br /> <br />refuse collection services and the surcharge imposed thereon for <br /> <br />recycling services in the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> <br />established as set forth in the schedule of charges marked <br /> <br />Exhibit A hereof attached hereto and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. This resolution shall be effective upon its adoption; <br /> <br />provided, however, the provisions hereof shall be operative <br /> <br />retroactively from and after October l, 1989. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
